Jimmy Nuttall

Jimmy Nuttall is an artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. His multidisciplinary practice spans mediums of filmmaking, performance, dance, textiles and sculpture.Jimmy has practiced, exhibited and studied in Australia and abroad. Most recently in 2023 he presented a new film "Cococonstance", commissioned by the National Art School and EO Gill part “Fulgora”, an exhibition showcasing Australian queer artists working with film and erotica, part of Sydney World Pride.

In 2022 Jimmy presented his 2019 film Fabulina, part of "Screwball" also curated by EO Gill. In 2021, he presented new sculptural and collage work in his solo show "MY BED MY BODY MY BAG" at TCB Gallery. From 2019 to 2020 Jimmy studied under the respective tutelage of Vaginal Davis and Morag Kiel at HEAD (La Haute école d’Art et Design) in Geneva, Switzerland. He has performed in works by various artists, such as Lili Reynaud-Dewar and Ivey Wawn. Jimmy has screened his films within curated programs by Emmett Aldred, Garden Reflexxx and Dogmilk Films.
